MUTUAL TEACHING

To ensure effective progress or to teach the most difficult skills, we know that an important part of group teaching is to involve the student in teaching their partner.
In group lessons, one student takes the role of performer and the other the role of observer. The idea is that the student learns to do an exercise better, in pairs that alternate the roles of observer and performer.

Our method in a group lesson applies two premises that make the difference with what other schools offer.

YOU LEARN BETTER WHAT IS TAUGHT

IF YOU CAN EXPLAIN IT IN A SIMPLE WAY, YOU HAVE UNDERSTOOD IT WELL

At different times during the lesson, the instructor will stop the class, so that the observing student can explain in his own words how he succeeds, overcome an exercise, and what his partner can improve. In short, he happens to be an assistant to the instructor.
Unhooked from the kite and one meter away from the student who is handling the kite, it is much easier to observe the general mistakes that are made.

As a general rule, the pairing of students should be maintained throughout the lesson, but as far as possible, it should be changed between class days. The more different explanatory variables that are taught, the more likely you are to grasp and consolidate the technique.
It is very important that no student falls behind, for this we will dedicate more time to those who need it most. Even if the other student does not advance at that time, he will solidly consolidate what he has already learned.
In advanced levels, the observer student exchanges his role with that of physical help, to speed up the pace of the class. To do this, she must assist her partner by recovering the board from the shore and relaunching the kite if necessary.

CHARACTERISTICS

In our group lessons we use personal equipment (harness, life jacket, helmet and neoprene) for each student.
Students also have two complete kitesurfing equipment (board and kite) to share.
